There stood a man of Louisiana,

and prayed him, saying,

Come over into Louisiana, and help us.

In Paul's vision it was a man from Macedonia.

".... for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,..."

The Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Westlake, Louisiana has closed.

Why Missionary Baptist?

We believe Jesus suffered and died for all mankind;

however, only those who believe on Christ shall be saved.

The church is a visible body of baptized believers.

Jesus established the church during His personal ministry.

Salvation is by grace through faith apart from any and all works.

The Lord's Supper which can only be Scriptural

when observed within the disciplinary jurisdiction of a local church.

We do not believe that any who have trusted Jesus will be omitted from the first resurrection

or suffer damnation subsequent to that resurrection.

Once saved always saved.

Each member is equal with another.

The church is supported by freewill offerings.

The church owns the pulpit and controls who fills it.
